Managing Your Dead Tree Library | Linux Journal

This is actually a brilliant idea. I should try this on an empty weekend or something.

  1. It’s a way to organize your magazines and books so you know what you have. Did you not read the article?

  2. I am sorry I didn’t notice the link and completely missed it. It’s just such a cute and small link. I just read the article and I like it. I am trying to build up a good little personal library and this will be nice. Good find and thanks for being patient with my silliness.

  3. Haha! It’s the way Posterous makes the original links so small… kind of a pain.Glad you saw, read, and enjoyed the article! Hope you get your personal library in order! :)

  4. This seems quite handy, I can never remember what I have read and actually own. Also reminds me that I lent someone a book last year :) I think I will investigate scanning the barcodes into a file with my N900 then importing into Alexandria.

  5. Cool! I’ve got a new Android phone and a barcode scanner now, so i will probably be trying this in a few weeks.
