Fanfic: Lynley and Havers
I’m working on a fanfic that came out of a conversation that I had with Wolfie. She said that she wanted to write a fic about Lynley and Havers on a date. A blind date.
I’ve decided to try a variation on this, with Winston setting the two up. I’m not sure how this will turn out; I have a couple pages done so far. It has the potential to turn into a smut-fic. Hard to not turn it into a smut-fic… Those two lend themselves very well to it.
*sigh* I’m probably awful for having these two jump into bed all the time. Wishful thinking, perhaps?

Writing and fanfic, etc
I’m trying to write each day. I don’t know if I’m very successful at it, but I will try to make a concerted effort to write more. It’s good for me. I can’t promise to write every day, but I will definitely try.
Oh, and I found another CSI pairing to fangirl: Wedges! It’s Wendy/Hodges.
I hated Hodges. I always thought he was all for Grissom, but apparently, he’s NOT gay. *grin*
There are a couple of good fics out there that are Wendy/Hodges, but you gotta look for it. You can’t specify Wendy in the character choices on fanfiction dot net, but you can specify Hodges. Heh. Look out for Nick, Grissom and Greg pairings… you want the het pairing with him.
I just never thought I’d like Hodges as a character, nor would I ever fangirl him. He’s not smoldering like Nick or Grissom and he’s not cute like Greg. He’s… I dunno. Just like those guys at school that I really didn’t pay much attention to. *shrug*

Randomness…
Sorry for the really crappy title, but I have a lot of random stuff to go over in this post.
Let’s start at the top:
- Work is good. I’ve been learning a lot of new things. I haven’t yet gone out to lunch, but then again, there’s not much around there. I got my first paycheck today ($$ *squee*) and it’ll be deposited Monday (thanks, Mom!!).
- My fanfic has been worked on! Yes, for all my regular fanfic readers, I have actually been working on my ILM fic. Right now, it’s posted over at my deviantArt page but here’s a direct link as well. It will be posted up on fanfiction dot net when I’m closer to being done.
- My fanart got taken down from dA. *sigh* I didn’t attribute well enough, and got slammed. It’s kinda detailed on my journal over there… It’s all back up though and properly attributed.
Whew. Been busy lately. It’s insane, and I don’t think it’s going to slow down anytime soon. I keep waking up insanely early on the weekend.
Feh.
I’m going to watch some TV now, and maybe write more later… I hope to have my fanfic done by the end of next weekend. *grin*

New Beginnings: This one is my serial ILM fic. Kind of a “getting together” fic. It relates to Helen’s death and covers all of the eps aired in the USA. Rated R. (Four chapters, so far. I’m working on a fifth.)
The Next Day: My first foray into smut-fic. Lynley and Havers get together and fun ensues! Anyway, this one is rated M. If you don’t like this stuff, don’t read it. (Two chapters)
